Plans, restoring a purchase and canceling
Evenchores is free on one phone, for as long as you like. A plan is only for sharing: one plan covers everyone in your home, up to 10 people, and only one person pays.
The plans
- Monthly and yearly (the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial). Both renew until you cancel in Google Play.
- Lifetime: you pay once, with no renewals.
A plan goes with the person who bought it (their Google account) and unlocks the home their phone is in. Everyone in that home shares it, and nobody else has to pay anything. If the buyer moves to another home and restores the purchase there, the plan moves with them, and the old home goes back to free until someone there buys a plan.
Getting a plan
Open Household and, under Share this home, tap Invite people. If your home doesn’t have a plan yet, the app shows the plans first. Pick one and pay in Google Play. Sharing starts as soon as the payment goes through, and you can send the invite right away.
Restore a purchase
Other people who join your home don’t need to: the home has the plan on our server, so their phones have it too.
Tap Restore purchase at the bottom of the plans when you’re the one who paid and you’re on a new phone, after a reinstall, or if sharing didn’t start (for example, the phone lost its connection mid-purchase). Use the same Google account you paid with. The plan then unlocks the home this phone is in.
Canceling
Cancel monthly and yearly plans in Google Play: Play Store → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Evenchores. The plan keeps working until the end of the time you already paid for. Leaving a home or deleting it doesn’t cancel a plan by itself.
When a plan ends
Household shows Sharing is paused with a Choose a plan button. Nothing is lost: each phone keeps its list, its history and its split, and you can keep checking chores off. Phones just stop seeing each other’s changes until the home has a plan again.
